Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Tena, take the E45 highway heading southeast towards Ahuano. Continue on E45 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Ahuano. Once in Ahuano, follow the signs toward Campococha, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. The lodge is located along the Rio Cusano. Ensure to check local maps or GPS for the most accurate route, as road conditions may vary.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Tena, you can take a bus to Ahuano. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Tena. The fare is usually around $1-2 USD and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Ahuano, you can either take a taxi or walk to reach Jungle Expeditions Lodge. The lodge is approximately 8 kilometers from the bus terminal in Ahuano. If walking, follow the main road towards Campococha, and you will find the lodge along the Rio Cusano.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Tena to Ahuano. The taxi fare may cost around $25-30 USD. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You can also take a taxi from the Ahuano bus terminal for approximately $10-15 USD to reach the lodge directly. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Boat

  For a more adventurous route, you can take a boat from Tena along the Napo River to Ahuano. This can be arranged through local tour operators. The boat ride offers stunning views of the Amazon rainforest and typically costs around $10-15 USD. Once you arrive at the riverside in Ahuano, you will need to take a short taxi ride to the lodge.
