If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Lago Agrio (also known as Nueva Loja). From there, take the E45 road heading northeast towards Cuyabeno. After approximately 40 km, you will reach the junction for the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Follow the signs towards Tarapoa, which is about 30 km from the junction. Be aware that the road conditions can vary, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Once you arrive in Tarapoa, look for signs or ask locals for directions to Tucan Lodge.
