If you are driving to Cuyabeno Wildlife Center, start from the town of Lago Agrio (Nueva Loja), which is the nearest major city. Head east on the E45 highway towards Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Once you reach the entrance to the reserve, you will need to pay an entrance fee, which is typically around $5. Follow the signs directing you into the reserve until you reach the designated parking area. From there, you may need to arrange for local transportation, such as a canoe ride or a shared taxi, to reach the Cuyabeno Wildlife Center, which is approximately a 30-minute boat ride from the parking area.

To reach Cuyabeno Wildlife Center via public transportation, take a bus from Quito or another major city to Lago Agrio (Nueva Loja). The bus ride from Quito takes about 8-10 hours. Once in Lago Agrio, head to the local bus terminal and look for a bus heading to Cuyabeno. This trip will take about 2 hours.
