I loved everything about this trip, it truly was one of those lifetime adventures. The company was great, the scenery was outstanding - we saw a variety of different landscapes. Our guide, Alfonso, took good care of us and looked after us throughout the trip. I think Ecuador is great as it's not swarming with tourists, we were frequently the only hikers on most of the trails. When we would run into others they were often locals. The places we stayed in were comfortable and run by friendly locals. The food was healthy, authentic and delicious (and clean!). The group was lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves hiking and being outdoors. The hikes were moderately challenging - especially if not used to high altitude, but not overly taxing.
