From Ayampe Beach, head south on the main road (Ruta del Spondylus). Continue for about 5 km until you reach the intersection near Puerto López. Take a left at the intersection and follow the signs to Machalilla National Park. After about 2 km, look for signs indicating Playa Los Bálsamos. You will need to park in the designated area near the beach, which may have a small parking fee (usually around $2). The beach is a short walk from the parking area.

To reach Playa Los Bálsamos from Ayampe Beach using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Puerto López. The fare is typically around $1.50. Once you arrive in Puerto López, ask the driver or locals for the bus that goes to Machalilla National Park. After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the stop for Playa Los Bálsamos. There might be a small entrance fee for the park area which can range from $1 to $3, depending on your access.
