If you are driving from Quito, take the Pan-American Highway (E28) southbound. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit toward Cotopaxi National Park (E35). Follow the signs for Cotopaxi National Park, which will lead you to the entrance of the park. The GPS coordinates for the park entrance are approximately -0.7007416 latitude and -78.4297187 longitude. There may be an entrance fee of around $10 per vehicle, so be prepared with cash.

From Quito, head to the Quitumbe bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Latacunga; this journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
