After about 15 km, turn left onto the road marked for Volcán Chimborazo. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km, following the signs to the Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve. Be prepared for winding roads and make sure your vehicle is in good condition, as some sections are steep. There is a parking area near the entrance to the park.

To reach Volcán Chimborazo via public transportation, start in Riobamba. Head to the main bus terminal and look for buses heading to the town of San Juan. Buses typically leave every hour and the fare is around $2. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once in San Juan, you can either take a taxi or a local bus that goes to the entrance of the Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve. Taxi fares from San Juan to the park entrance can range from $10 to $15 and must be negotiated beforehand.
