From Riobamba, take the E35 highway heading south. Continue on the E35 for approximately 27 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Chimborazo National Park. Turn left onto the road leading to the park. Continue along this road for about 12 kilometers, following the signs for 'Refugios del Chimborazo'. The Vista al Chimborazo viewpoint will be on your left. Parking is available near the viewpoint.

From Riobamba, take a bus heading to 'Chimborazo' or 'Refugios del Chimborazo'. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal. The journey takes about an hour and costs around $1.50. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local guide to take you up to the Vista al Chimborazo viewpoint, as public transport does not reach the viewpoint directly. Expect to pay around $10 for the taxi to the viewpoint.
