After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the entrance of the park. There is a small entrance fee of about $10 per vehicle that you will need to pay. Once inside the park, follow the main road towards the parking area near the base of Volcan Cotopaxi.

For public transportation, take a bus from Latacunga to the Cotopaxi National Park. Look for buses labeled 'Cotopaxi' or 'Sigchos' at the Latacunga bus terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around $2.
