If you are driving, start from Latacunga, the nearest major city. Take the Pan-American Highway (E35) heading north. Follow the signs for Cotopaxi National Park. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the entrance of the park. There is a small entrance fee of about $10 per vehicle that you will need to pay. Once inside the park, follow the main road towards the parking area near the base of Volcan Cotopaxi.
