If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Latacunga, which is the nearest major city to Parque Nacional Cotopaxi. Head east on Av. Simón Bolívar (E35) for about 30 kilometers. Follow the signs for Cotopaxi National Park. You will reach the entrance to the park, where you may need to pay an entrance fee of approximately $2 per person. Once inside, you can navigate the park using the marked roads and trails.
Public Transportation
To reach Parque Nacional Cotopaxi via public transportation, go to the Latacunga bus terminal. Look for buses heading to 'Cotopaxi' or 'Pujilí'. The fare is usually around $1.50.
