If you're traveling by car, head towards Otavalo, which is well-connected via the Pan-American Highway (E35). Once you reach Otavalo, look for signs directing you to the city center. As you enter Otavalo, navigate to the Avenida 31 de Octubre, then take a right onto Calle Sucre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Bolívar, where you should turn left. Hostal Aya Huma is located along this route. If you have GPS, you can enter the coordinates 0.2469529, -78.2463428 to find the exact location.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start your journey at the main bus terminal in your current location in Imbabura Region. Look for a bus heading to Otavalo; these buses frequently leave from terminals in towns like Ibarra or Cotacachi. The bus fare is typically around $1.00-2.00 depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the Otavalo bus terminal, exit and head towards the city center, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Follow Avenida 31 de Octubre, then turn right onto Calle Sucre and finally left onto Calle Bolívar to reach Hostal Aya Huma.
