If you're driving from Mindo Cloud Forest, take the E28 highway heading southeast towards Quito. The drive will take approximately 2.5 hours. Once you reach Quito, follow the signs for 'Parque La Carolina' which is located in the La Carolina neighborhood. Look for Avenida Eloy Alfaro, and turn onto it. Continue straight until you see the park entrance on your right. Parking is available near the park entrance, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Parque La Carolina via public transport, first take a bus from Mindo to Quito. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Mindo. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Terminal Quitumbe in Quito, you can take a taxi or use public transport (such as the Metro or local buses) to get to Parque La Carolina. If taking a taxi, just tell the driver 'Parque La Carolina' and they will know the location. The taxi ride from Terminal Quitumbe to the park will take about 30 minutes and costs approximately $5-$10.
