Walking
From the main square in Mindo, walk towards the Mindo River. Follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the dirt path. This will lead you to the main road. Turn left onto the main road and follow it for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the bus stop. Here, you can catch a bus heading to Quito. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Teleférico station in Quito.
Bus
Once you arrive at the Teleférico station in Quito, purchase a ticket for the cable car ride. The station is located at Avenida Occidental in the La Carolina neighborhood. After getting your ticket, board the cable car which will take you up Rucu Pichincha. Once you reach the top, take in the stunning views and enjoy the hiking trails available.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Mindo to the Teleférico station in Quito. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. Once you arrive at the Teleférico station, purchase a ticket and board the cable car to Rucu Pichincha. Enjoy the views along the way!
