Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in Morona Santiago Region, you will need to head towards the city of Macas and take the E30 highway north. Continue on E30 for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the junction with the E28 road. Take the E28 road towards the city of Quito. After about 2.5 hours on the E28, you will reach the capital city, Quito. In Quito, follow the signs to the Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) area. The Intiñan Equator Museum is located just a few minutes away from the main Mitad del Mundo site, on the Av. Manuel Córdova Galarza. Ensure you have a GPS or a map to navigate through the city streets, as traffic can be heavy. Parking is available near the museum, but it may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach the Intiñan Equator Museum via public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Macas to Quito. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal in Macas and the journey takes around 4-5 hours. Look for buses headed to Quitumbe or the Mariscal district in Quito. Once you arrive in Quito, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the Mitad del Mundo area. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes from the bus terminal and will cost around $10-$15. If you opt for the local bus, look for a bus heading towards Mitad del Mundo, which will cost about $0.50. Once you arrive at Mitad del Mundo, the Intiñan Equator Museum is just a short walk away, follow the signs.
