If you are driving, start your journey from Macas. Head southwest on Avenida 15 de Noviembre toward Avenida Eloy Alfaro. Continue straight onto E45, following signs for Sucúa/El Pangui. After about 8 kilometers, you will see a sign for Mirador del Quilamo. Turn left onto the access road, which is well-maintained. Continue for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the viewing point. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Mirador del Quilamo using public transportation, take a bus from Macas to Sucúa. Buses frequently depart from the main terminal in Macas. Once you arrive in Sucúa, you can catch a local taxi or a tuk-tuk to take you to the entrance of Mirador del Quilamo. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost between $3 to $5 for the short ride. The taxi will take you close to the entrance, and from there, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the observation deck.
