After approximately 13 km, you will reach a junction; take the road towards Misahuallí. Continue for another 10 km until you reach the town of Misahuallí. From Misahuallí, follow the signs towards Río Jondachi. The road will lead you along the river and through the lush rainforest. After around 17 km, you will arrive at the parking area near Río Jondachi. Be prepared for unpaved terrain in the last section of the drive.

    To reach Río Jondachi using public transportation, begin your journey at the Tena bus terminal. Take a bus heading to Misahuallí. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes and cost approximately $1.50. Upon arriving in Misahuallí, look for local transport options such as a taxi or shared truck (known locally as a 'camioneta') that can take you to Río Jondachi. The fare for the shared transport will be around $2-3 per person.
