If you are traveling by car from Puyo, head east on Av. 15 de Noviembre. Continue straight for about 4 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the E30 highway. Turn left onto E30 and follow the signs for Macas. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach San Fernando. Look for the signs directing you to Laguna de Busa, which is located a short distance from the main road. Parking is available near the lake.

To reach Laguna de Busa via public transport, take a bus from Puyo to Macas. Buses leave regularly from the main terminal in Puyo. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around $1. After arriving in Macas, transfer to a local bus heading to San Fernando. The fare for this leg is approximately $0.50, and the bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in San Fernando, ask locals for directions to Laguna de Busa, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Puyo or Macas. From Puyo, the fare will typically range from $20 to $30, depending on negotiation. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. From Macas, expect to pay around $10 to $15 for a 30-minute taxi ride to Laguna de Busa. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
