To reach Parque Nacional Galápagos from anywhere in Oriente by car, you will first need to drive to the city of Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Start by heading to the nearest major city, which is Tena. From Tena, take the E45 road towards Baeza and then continue on the E20 road towards La Chorrera. Once you get to Baños, take the route to Puyo and then continue to Macas. From Macas, make your way to the town of San Cristóbal. From San Cristóbal, you can take a ferry to Puerto Ayora. Be sure to check ferry schedules in advance as they can vary. The ferry ride typically takes around 2.5 hours and will cost approximately $30. Once you arrive in Puerto Ayora, follow the signs to the entrance of the national park.

If you prefer public transportation, start your journey by taking a bus from Tena to Quito. The bus ride will take around 5-6 hours and cost approximately $10. From Quito, take a domestic flight to Baltra Island. Flights are available from various airlines, and prices typically range from $100 to $250 depending on the season and availability.
