Walking
From the center of Puerto Villamil, head north towards the main pier. Just before reaching the pier, you'll see a wooden boardwalk on your left. Follow this boardwalk through the mangroves for about 3 minutes until you reach Concha de la Perla. The walk from the town center to the boardwalk entrance is approximately 20 minutes. There is no cost for accessing the boardwalk or Concha de la Perla.
Taxi
Taxis (usually white pickup trucks) are readily available in Puerto Villamil. Ask the driver to take you to the entrance of Concha de la Perla, near the main pier. The taxi ride from the town center is short, about 5 minutes. The cost is around $2 per person. From the drop-off point, follow the wooden boardwalk for about 3 minutes to reach the snorkeling site.
