You'll need to turn onto a smaller road that leads directly to the beach area. The road can be bumpy, so drive cautiously. There is no entrance fee to access the beach itself, but keep in mind that parking might cost around $2 USD.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Manta, head to the local bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Puerto Cayo. The journey will take about 1 hour and costs around $2 USD. Once you arrive in Puerto Cayo, you will need to catch a taxi to Los Frailes Beach, which should cost around $5 to $7 USD. For the return trip, make sure to ask the taxi driver for a return fare or find a taxi that is willing to take you back to Puerto Cayo.
