    Getting There

    Walking

    From Puerto Ayora, head west on Avenida Baltra. Turn left onto Charles Binford Street and continue for 350 meters until you reach the Galapagos National Park entrance. Register at the park hut. Follow the paved trail for approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) to reach Playa Brava. Continue along the path to the right through the mangroves for another 20 minutes to reach Playa Mansa. The walk takes around 45 minutes.

    Water Taxi

    From the main dock in Puerto Ayora, negotiate a ride with a local water taxi to Tortuga Bay. The boat trip takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately $10 USD per person each way.
