Canoe
From Punta Ahuano, the final leg to Anaconda Lodge is typically by motorized canoe. This short journey (approximately 30 minutes) takes you along the Napo River to Anaconda Island. The canoe ride costs US$22.00 per ride (not per person, maximum 10 people). This fee is paid directly to the lodge, who then pays the canoe driver.
Bus and Canoe
To reach Anaconda Lodge Ecuador using public transport, take a bus from Quito or Baños to Tena. From Tena, transfer to another bus to Punta Ahuano (US$1.50, 1 hour). From Punta Ahuano, a motorized canoe provides the final transport to the lodge (US$22.00 per ride). The bus from Quito to Tena is approximately US$8 , and the bus from Baños to Tena is approximately US$6.
Taxi and Canoe
For a more direct route, take a taxi from Tena to Punta Ahuano (US$15, 30 minutes). From Punta Ahuano, the final leg to Anaconda Lodge is by motorized canoe (US$22.00 per ride). Taxis can typically accommodate up to 4 people.
