From Quito, take a bus from Terminal Terrestre Quitumbe to Tena. Several bus companies operate this route, with Amazonas Cooperativa de Transportes running buses approximately every 4 hours. The bus journey to Tena takes around 4 hours and costs between $13 and $20. From Tena, take another bus towards Cotundo and ask the driver to drop you off in the small town of Cotundo. From Cotundo, a taxi to Huasquila Amazon Lodge is approximately $4. The lodge is located 3.5 km from Cotundo.

From Quito, drive to Huasquila Amazon Lodge via Tena. The drive is approximately 177 km and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Be aware that the route involves mountainous terrain, especially as you approach Cotundo. Parking is available at the lodge.
