Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Southeast Oriente, head towards Quito. Use the Pan-American Highway (E35) northbound. Once you reach Quito, follow signs for the city center. As you approach La Carolina area, take the exit for Avenida de los Shyris. Continue on Avenida de los Shyris until you reach the intersection with Avenida Eloy Alfaro. Turn right onto Avenida Eloy Alfaro and then take a left onto Pasaje #34. The Quito Botanical Gardens will be on your right. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Quito Botanical Gardens using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus terminal in Southeast Oriente. Take a bus heading towards Quito, specifically one that stops near La Carolina. Once you arrive at the La Carolina area, you can either walk or take a taxi. If walking, head towards Avenida de los Shyris, then turn right and proceed to Avenida Eloy Alfaro. Finally, turn left onto Pasaje #34. The gardens will be on your right. Alternatively, taxis are readily available for a small fare from the bus drop-off point.
