If you are in the Stanley area, you can reach the Alexandria National Museum by walking. Start by heading west on El-Shaheed Galal El-Desouky Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 18 minutes on foot). You will pass through the vibrant streets of Stanley, where you can enjoy local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Bab Sharqi, as the museum is located there. Once you reach Bab Sharqi, the museum will be on your left at 131 El-Shaheed Galal El-Desouky.

Public Bus
From Stanley, you can take a public bus towards Bab Sharqi. Locate the nearest bus stop and board a bus that has 'Bab Sharqi' as its destination. The fare is typically around 5 EGP. The bus journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bab Sharqi bus stop, exit the bus and walk approximately 10 minutes to the museum. Head east on El-Shaheed Galal El-Desouky Street for about 800 meters, and you will find the museum on your right.

To reach the Alexandria National Museum via microbus, find a microbus stop in Stanley that is heading towards Bab Sharqi. The fare is usually around 3 EGP. The microbus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bab Sharqi area, disembark and walk for about 10 minutes. Head east on El-Shaheed Galal El-Desouky Street, and you will see the museum at 131 El-Shaheed Galal El-Desouky on your right.
