Getting There

    If you are near a metro station, take the Cairo Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards 'El-Marg' or 'Helwan'. Get off at 'Sadat' station, which is directly under El-Tahrir Square. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the station exit. Once you are above ground, you will be at El-Tahrir Square. You can easily spot the square as it is a large open area.
