Walking
If you are starting from the famous Khan El Khalili market, exit the market and head north towards Al-Muizz Street. Once on Al-Muizz Street, continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Al-Azhar Street. Turn left onto Al-Azhar Street and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see the Mosque of Sultan al-Muayyad Shaykh on your right, located near the entrance of the Citadel.

If you are near the Cairo Citadel, exit the Citadel and head towards the main gate. Once outside, walk down the hill towards Al-Darb Al-Ahmar Street. Continue straight for about 800 meters, passing by various shops and local vendors. The Mosque of Sultan al-Muayyad Shaykh will be on your left, just before reaching the intersection with Al-Azhar Street.
