Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the Giza Plateau, start by heading east on Al Haram Street (Pyramids Road) towards Cairo. Continue straight for approximately 7 kilometers. You will pass by several landmarks including the Egyptian Museum on your left. When you reach the intersection with 26 July Corridor, take a right turn. Continue on 26 July Corridor for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for 6 October Bridge. Follow the signs to merge onto the bridge, which will take you into Zamalek. There are no tolls for using this route.

  • Public Transportation - Metro

    From the Giza Plateau, make your way to the nearest metro station, which is the Giza Metro Station. Take the metro on Line 2 (the red line) towards Shubra El Kheima. After three stops, get off at the Sadat Station, which is located in Tahrir Square. From Sadat Station, exit and take a short walk to the 26 July Corridor. You can either take a taxi or an Uber from there, which will cost around 50 EGP to reach 6 October Bridge.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    Head to the main bus station in Giza, which is located close to the Giza Plateau. Look for buses heading towards Cairo or Zamalek. You can take Bus No. 97 or any bus that heads towards downtown Cairo. The fare is approximately 5 EGP. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 6 October Bridge stop in Zamalek. From there, it is a short walk to the bridge.
