Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from Luxor Temple, located in the heart of Luxor. Head west on Al-Mahmoudia Street until you reach the Nile Corniche. Turn left and walk along the river for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye on the road signs indicating Al-Qurn. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Al Qarn Street. Turn right onto Al Qarn Street and continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. You’ll see Al-Qurn Mountain in the distance. Follow the path leading towards the base of the mountain.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near the Nile Corniche. From Luxor Temple, cycle west towards the Nile Corniche and turn left. Bike along the river for about 1 kilometer. Continue until you reach the junction with Al Qarn Street. Turn right onto Al Qarn Street and bike straight for approximately 3 kilometers. The mountain will be visible ahead, guiding you to your destination.

  • Horse-drawn carriage (Calèche)

    Find a calèche at Luxor Temple or nearby designated areas. Negotiate a fare with the driver, mentioning that you want to go to Al-Qurn. The driver will take you along the streets towards the Nile Corniche. After reaching the river, the driver will navigate to Al Qarn Street and continue on that road for around 3 kilometers, dropping you off at the base of Al-Qurn Mountain.

  • Public Bus

    From Luxor, head to the local bus station near the city center. Look for a bus heading towards Al-Qurn or nearby villages. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Al-Qurn. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the directions towards Al-Qurn Mountain, which is visible from the bus stop.
