Walking
If you are starting from Luxor Temple, exit the temple grounds and head west on Corniche El Nile St. towards the Luxor Bridge. Continue walking along Corniche El Nile St., enjoying the views of the Nile River. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the Luxor Bridge. Cross the bridge to the West Bank of the Nile. Upon reaching the West Bank, follow the signs towards the Theban Necropolis, which is approximately another 5 km away. You may follow Al-Qurna Road, which leads directly towards the necropolis. It's advisable to ask locals for the best walking route or any shortcuts along the way.

From Luxor Temple or your hotel in Luxor, take a felucca (small sailing boat) across the Nile River to the West Bank. This is a scenic and enjoyable way to start your journey.
