Walking
If you are starting from Luxor Temple, exit the temple grounds and head southwest on Corniche El Nile toward the Luxor Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it and continue straight to the main road. From here, you can either take a local bus or a shared taxi to the Valley of the Kings. Ensure you inform the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Valley of the Kings.

From the Luxor bus station, take a local bus heading towards the Valley of the Kings. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination. Once the bus stops near the entrance of the Valley of the Kings, disembark and follow the signs towards KV2 - Tomb of Ramses IV.

From any central location in Luxor, such as the Luxor Temple or your hotel, look for a shared taxi going towards the Valley of the Kings. These taxis are usually found at taxi stands or can be flagged down on the street. Share the ride with other passengers to keep costs low. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Valley of the Kings entrance. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading you to KV2 - Tomb of Ramses IV.
