Walking
From the Luxor Temple, head west on Khaled Ibn El Walid Street until you reach the junction with Mohamed Farid Street. Turn left onto Mohamed Farid Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corniche El Nile. Cross the road carefully and head north along the Corniche, enjoying the view of the Nile. After about 1 km, you will come to the Karnak Temple. From Karnak, take a local bus or a shared taxi towards Al Qarnah. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Deir el-Bahari, which is located in the West Bank area of Luxor. Once you arrive at Deir el-Bahari, follow the signs to the visitor center where you can purchase your tickets.
Local Bus
From your accommodation in Luxor, walk to the nearest local bus station. Look for buses heading towards the West Bank. Once you board the bus, inform the conductor that you want to go to Deir el-Bahari. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs as you approach the site. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Deir el-Bahari.
Horse-drawn Carriage (Calèche)
If you prefer a more traditional mode of transport, you can hire a horse-drawn carriage (Calèche) from Luxor's main streets. Negotiate a price with the carriage driver for a round trip to Deir el-Bahari. Enjoy the scenic ride through the West Bank, which will take around 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to Deir el-Bahari, where you can explore the site.
