Getting There

Walking

From the Luxor Temple, head west on Khaled Ibn El Walid Street until you reach the junction with Mohamed Farid Street. Turn left onto Mohamed Farid Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corniche El Nile. Cross the road carefully and head north along the Corniche, enjoying the view of the Nile. After about 1 km, you will come to the Karnak Temple. From Karnak, take a local bus or a shared taxi towards Al Qarnah. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Deir el-Bahari, which is located in the West Bank area of Luxor.
