Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Luxor Temple, exit the temple grounds and head northeast on the Corniche (the riverside promenade). Walk along the Corniche for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with El-Mahatta Street. Turn right onto El-Mahatta Street and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al Gwazat Street. Follow Al Gwazat Street for approximately 700 meters. The Isis Papyrus Museum will be on your right side, just before the bridge. Look for the sign indicating the museum.

    If you are starting from the Luxor Railway Station, exit the station and head south towards the Corniche. Once you reach the Corniche, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 1.5 km. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with El-Mahatta Street. Turn left onto El-Mahatta Street, and follow it for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al Gwazat Street. The museum will be on your right after about 700 meters.

Take the second exit onto Al Gwazat Street. The Isis Papyrus Museum will be approximately 700 meters ahead on your right side.
