Walking
If you are in the center of Luxor, start at the Luxor Temple. Head east on Corniche El Nile street, which runs along the Nile River. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Hilton Luxor Resort and Spa. The Isis papyrus Museum is located within the premises of the Hilton Hotel. Look for signs directing you towards the museum once you arrive at the hotel.
Horse-drawn carriage
From your hotel or wherever you are in Luxor, you can hire a horse-drawn carriage (known as a 'calèche'). Ask the driver to take you to the Hilton Hotel at Karnak. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Hilton, follow the signs to the Isis papyrus Museum located inside.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops around Luxor. Start from Luxor Temple, cycling along Corniche El Nile street towards Karnak. It’s approximately a 2-kilometer ride. Upon reaching the Hilton Luxor Resort and Spa, park your bicycle and enter the hotel to find the Isis papyrus Museum.
