I took this trip after a difficult breakup and needed to do something for myself. The 8 days Nile cruise was exactly what I needed to reset. I paid about 1200 dollars and felt it was reasonable for everything included. The experience of being on the water and visiting ancient sites gave me perspective and peace. The length of visit was ideal because I had structure but also freedom to be alone when I needed it. The atmosphere on the ship was calming during the day and social at night which helped me come out of my shell gradually. The crowd size was perfect not too many people so I could have conversations but also privacy. The staff were kind and noticed when I wanted company and when I wanted to be left alone. Best for solo travelers healing from something and needing a change of scenery. One evening I was sitting alone watching the sunset and an older couple invited me to join them for dinner and we ended up talking for hours about life and travel and it made me feel hopeful again

It was really an amazing trip and Hassan was a great guide. We saw the pyramids, bit the best was Abu Simbel. This is a real marvel and we had a good amount of time at that site. We also got to swim in the Nile - (wouldn’t recommend if you’re a germaphobe). The hotels were 2 star but we had a great view of the Nile in Aswan - totally worth it

Over the three days we spent together, Ahmed took us to all the major temples and sights in Luxor. But the experience didn’t end there. Ahmed invited us to some of Luxor’s most wonderful restaurants, where we were treated to delicious meals and had the pleasure of enjoying the company of local people. This extra touch made the experience even more special. On the third day, we suggested swapping the luxury car for a tuk-tuk, and that turned out to be one of the best experiences of the trip. We spent the day exploring the agricultural areas around Luxor, getting an authentic glimpse into local life – an unforgettable experience. Ahmed also arranged a hot air balloon ride for us, which began early in the morning at 4:00 AM. We floated over Luxor's temples for an hour before landing softly in a field. Ahmed made sure we had the most experienced pilot, and the entire experience was safe and professional – a truly incredible adventure we will never forget. We highly recommend Ahmed as a guide. His passion, professionalism, and ability to make every experience unique make him the best guide we could have asked for in Luxor.
