Educational, Relaxing, and Completely Worth It

I went on this Egypt tour with two of my college buddies, and we all agreed—it was the best travel experience we’ve ever had. We started in Cairo, where we stayed at the Tuya Pyramids Inn. It was cozy, and the staff were welcoming. From there, we explored the Giza Pyramids and the mighty Sphinx with a knowledgeable guide who made us appreciate the immense scale of these wonders. The lunch included that day was fantastic—we had traditional Egyptian dishes that were both flavorful and filling. Then came the night train to Luxor, which was surprisingly comfortable and gave us a chance to relax after a packed day. The cruise portion was top-notch. We stayed on the Steigenberger Legacy and felt like we were on a floating hotel. Every day we disembarked to explore a new temple or site—Luxor’s Karnak Temple, Edfu’s Temple of Horus, and Kom Ombo’s dual temple were standouts. Our guide kept us engaged with stories and details that helped us truly understand what we were seeing. On board, we enjoyed breakfast juice and coffee, and afternoon tea with cake, which felt like a classy touch. The cruise moved slowly, giving us time to soak in the scenery along the Nile—lush greenery, desert hills, and life on the riverbanks. This trip is ideal for those who want history, culture, and relaxation all rolled into one. We had great Wi-Fi at the hotel, water during every tour, and never felt rushed. Overall a good trip . Our guide Hassan Hosny was very happy and knowledgeable . He did a good job managing our group who were great . The tour is very hectic with lots of early starts.. so be prepared . We did some optional extras that contributed to those . The hot air balloon and Abu Simbel were well worth it however. Our cruise ship was not luxurious but adequate with good pool deck . Hotels were good although the Giza one is way out of town. Good value for money
