Once you have the car, navigate using GPS towards your destination in Nubia, which is approximately 30 km away from Aswan. Take the Edfu-Aswan Road (also known as the Desert Road) which is well-marked. Expect a drive of about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

  For budget travelers, public buses are available from Nubia to various parts of Egypt. Locate the nearest bus station in Nubia.
