The entrance to the Wadi El Rayan Protected Area is about 8.5 kilometers from the turnoff, where you'll need to purchase a ticket for your vehicle and each passenger. Entrance fees are around 5 USD per person. Be aware that there are no gas stations inside Wadi El Rayan, so ensure you have enough fuel for your trip.

Taxis can be hired from El Fayoum city to reach Wadi El Rayan. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as there are no meters. A round trip should cost approximately 200-300 EGP, including waiting time.
