Walking
Start your journey from the center of Haapsalu, specifically from the Haapsalu Castle, which is a popular tourist attraction. Exit the castle grounds and head east on Karja Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Võnnu Street. Turn left onto Võnnu Street. Walk along Võnnu Street for about 700 meters until you reach the Vana kalmistu (Old Cemetery) at the address Võnnu 41. The cemetery entrance will be on your left, and it should be marked clearly.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Haapsalu. From the rental shop, head towards Haapsalu Castle. Once you reach the castle, follow the same route as the walking directions: exit the castle grounds, head east on Karja Street, and turn left onto Võnnu Street. Continue cycling straight for about 700 meters until you reach Vana kalmistu (Old Cemetery) at Võnnu 41. The path is safe for cyclists, and you will find bike racks near the entrance.
Public Transport
While public transport options are limited in Haapsalu, you can take a local bus if available. Check the local bus schedule for routes that service the area near Võnnu Street. If you find a suitable bus route, board the bus and get off at the nearest stop to Võnnu Street. From there, walk approximately 200 meters to the cemetery entrance located at Võnnu 41. Make sure to check the bus hours as service may be infrequent.
