Walking
Start your journey at the Kuressaare Castle, located in the center of town. Exit the castle grounds and head east on Tallinna Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Pärna Street. Turn left onto Pärna Street and follow it north for another 1 km. You will reach the main road (Tallinna-Kuressaare Road). Cross the road and take the path that leads into the countryside. After about 2 km, you will see signs directing you towards Kaarma maalinn. The site will be on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kuressaare. Head out from the rental shop towards Kuressaare Castle. Take the same route as if walking: exit the castle grounds and proceed east on Tallinna Street. Once you reach Pärna Street, turn left and continue north. After 1 km, you will reach the intersection with the main road. At this point, ride straight on the path leading into the countryside for roughly 2 km. You will see Kaarma maalinn on your left, clearly marked with signs.
