Getting There

Walking
From the main building of Tartu University, head east on Ülikooli Street towards the Tartu Town Hall. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rüütli Street. Turn left onto Rüütli Street, and follow it until you reach the end of the street, which leads to the Toome Hill area. Continue uphill on Toome Hill and follow the signs leading to Tähetorn. The walk will take about 25 minutes and offers scenic views of Tartu.

Bus
From Tartu University, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Rüütli Street. Take bus number 5 towards 'Tammelinna'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Tähetorni' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Tartu Tähetorn. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.

If you are driving, exit Tartu University and head southeast on Ülikooli Street. Turn right onto Narva Road (E263) and then take a left onto Uppsala Street. Continue straight until you reach Uppsala 8, where Tartu Tähetorn is located. There is parking available near the museum. Be aware that parking may incur a fee depending on the location.
