Getting There

Walking

From the center of Mhlume, start at the Mhlume Shopping Center. Head north on the main road (MR3) towards the direction of Piggs Peak. Walk approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the sign for Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve. Turn left onto the gravel road. Continue walking along this road for about 3 kilometers until you see the entrance to Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve on your right. The entrance is well marked and should be visible from the road.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can start your journey from the Mhlume Shopping Center. Ride north on the MR3 for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection for Phophonyane Falls. Turn left onto the gravel road, which is well maintained for cycling. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers. Watch for the signs directing you to Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve, which will be on your right.
Public Transport

From Mhlume, you can catch a local taxi or minibus heading towards Piggs Peak. Inform the driver that you want to go to Phophonyane Falls. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop before the intersection with the MR3 gravel road leading to the reserve. From there, it is a short walk (around 15 minutes) along the gravel road until you reach the entrance to Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve on your right.
