Experience Malolotja Falls

Getting There

  • Car

    From the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, head out of the main entrance and turn right onto the MR3 road. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the MR1 road. Turn left onto MR1 and follow it for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the Malolotja Nature Reserve entrance on your right. Once you reach the entrance, there is a small fee for entry (approximately E50 per person). After entering, follow the signs directing you to the Malolotja Falls parking area.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, you can take a taxi or local bus service to the nearest town of Nkhaba. Inform the driver that you want to go to Malolotja Nature Reserve. Once you arrive in Nkhaba, you may need to arrange for a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to the Malolotja Nature Reserve entrance, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Expect to pay around E50 for the taxi ride. After entering the reserve (entrance fee is about E50), you can either hike or take a guided tour to the Malolotja Falls.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can also hike to Malolotja Falls from the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.
