Walking
From the center of Bahir Dar, start at the Bahir Dar Grand Hotel. Head east on Abay Road (also known as Ethio-China Road). Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kebele 10 Road. Turn left onto Kebele 10 Road and continue for approximately 500 meters. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit to stay on Kebele 10 Road. Walk straight for another 300 meters, and you will see the Evangelist Abate Welaniwos Memorial on your right. Look for the distinctive memorial park signage.

Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Church of St. George in Bahir Dar. Head south on the main road towards Abay Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Abay Road. Keep pedaling for 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Kebele 10 Road. Turn left, and bike for another 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Kebele 10 Road and continue for 300 meters. The memorial will be on your right side, easily visible from the road.
