Walking
Start from the Lalibela town center, where most accommodations and restaurants are located. Head east on the main road toward the famous rock-hewn churches. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction near the entrance to the churches. At the junction, veer slightly right onto a narrower path. Continue walking for another 10 minutes, and you will see a small footbridge ahead. Cross this bridge, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. After crossing, keep walking straight for about 5 minutes until you see the entrance to Beta Gabriel Raphael on your left. It's marked with a sign, and the entrance may be slightly elevated from the path.
