To reach Lake Basaka by car, start from the city of Adama (also known as Nazret), located approximately 60 km from the lake. Take the Adama-Mojo Road (A1) heading towards Mojo. After about 20 km, take the exit towards the Bole-Bole Road. Continue on this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Lake Basaka. Turn right and follow the signs towards Lake Basaka. The road may become narrower, so drive carefully. The total drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
