Getting There

Walking
From the center of Argir, head south on the main road, Áarvegur. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the road Vesturbøkur. Turn left onto Vesturbøkur and walk for another 500 meters. You will pass several houses and a small park on your left. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Tórshavn. Once you reach the end of Vesturbøkur, the road will curve to the right, becoming Norðari Ringvegur. Continue on this road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Mariugøta. Turn left onto Mariugøta. Saint Mary's Church will be on your left at number 4, easily recognizable by its distinctive architecture.

If you are starting from the Argir Church, exit the church and head west towards the main road, Áarvegur. Turn right onto Áarvegur and walk south for about 300 meters. When you reach the intersection with Vesturbøkur, continue straight onto Vesturbøkur and follow the previous directions from there.

Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop marked 'Tórshavn, Mariugøta.' Once you get off the bus, walk down Mariugøta for about 100 meters. You will find Saint Mary's Church on your left at number 4.
