Walking
From the center of Argir, head north on the main road, Áarvegur. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Hoyvíksvegur. Follow Hoyvíksvegur for approximately 600 meters, and you will see Tjóðsavnið (Faroe Islands National Museum) on your left at 6 Brekkutún, Hoyvík 188. The museum is located just a short distance from the main road and is easily accessible on foot.

From Argir, you can take the bus number 1 or 2 from the nearest bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Tórshavn. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Hoyvík' bus stop.
