Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Hoyvík from any location in Eysturoy Island. Follow the signs towards Tórshavn and stay on the main road (Route 10) until you reach the roundabout near Tórshavn. Take the exit towards Hoyvík and continue straight. Keep an eye out for Brekkutún road, which will be on your left. The museum is located at 6 Brekkutún, Hoyvík 188. There is parking available near the museum.

For public transportation, take a bus heading towards Tórshavn from any village in Eysturoy. The buses are operated by Strandfaraskip Landsins, and you can check the current timetable on their website. Once you reach the main bus station in Tórshavn, transfer to bus line 1 or 2 towards Hoyvík. Get off at the stop closest to Brekkutún. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop; just head down Brekkutún road, and you will find Tjóðsavnið at number 6.
