Walking
If you are starting from the center of Tórshavn, head towards the main street known as Niels Finsens Gøta. Walk along Niels Finsens Gøta until you reach the intersection with Vaglið. Turn left onto Vaglið and continue straight. You will see the beautiful historic buildings and the harbor on your right as you walk. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the end of Vaglið. At this point, turn right onto Vøttastíggjur, and after a short walk, you will find Amtmansgarðurin on your left side, at the coordinates 266J+24C.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Tórshavn City Bus Terminal, take bus number 1 heading towards Norðragøta. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop named 'Amtmansgarðurin.' It’s about a 10-minute ride. Once you get off, walk a short distance back towards the entrance of the garden, which should be clearly marked.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tórshavn. Start from the center of Tórshavn and ride along Niels Finsens Gøta. Follow the same route as walking, but keep in mind to be cautious of pedestrians. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach Amtmansgarðurin. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
